These are removable prostheses made with support from teeth, tooth roots or implants and oral soft tissues left in the presence of a small number of teeth in the mouth. The use of natural teeth or implants increases the stability and retention of the prosthesis.
Suppose there are excessively elongated and perplexed teeth in the area to be prosthetic. In that case, these teeth are cut and reduced, and overlapping coatings are made. These are called telescopic crown dentures.
