We have updated our hygiene measurements during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Turkish Dental Association (TDA). The measurements we follow at our clinic according to the recommendations as mentioned above are as follows:
- The temperature of each patient visiting the clinic is measured.
- Each patient must fill and sign the” Covid-19 Anamnesis and Consent Form’2 by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
- We ensure our hand hygiene and use our personal protective equipment.
- All examination rooms are disinfected before and after each treatment.
- The gap between appointments is prolonged to increase the aeration time of examination rooms.
- Each patient is requested to perform a mouthwash with special solutions which kill microorganisms.
- All tools to be used for our patients are sterilised in single-use packages.
- The air in all clinics and waiting lounge is filtered and renewed by the ventilation system in five-minute intervals.
- All surface and air in clinic rooms are disinfected with a UV-C beam.
- Clinics are disinfected with a ULV device.
- We have a waiting area for the companions of our patients, located in the garden of our clinic.
- Clinic rooms are aerated through outward-opening windows during and after treatments.
