Bruxism usually occurs during sleep, and patients are often unaware that they are clenching their teeth. Bruxism is often noticed during a dentist&#8217;s visit. Causes of bruxism; systemic factors (genetic central nervous system disorders, endocrine diseases, side effects of psychiatric drugs), local factors (closure disorder, various dental treatments) and psychological factors (anxiety, stress, aggressive personality type).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-94963831 gb-headline-text\">Signs and Symptoms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Abrasion on the chewing surface of the teeth<\/li><li>Fractures on teeth or fillings (especially anterior teeth)<\/li><li>Gingival diseases<\/li><li>wobbling, spacing of teeth<\/li><li>Dental sensitivity<\/li><li>Cheek irritation<\/li><li>Headache, especially in the morning<\/li><li>Triggered migraine pains<\/li><li>Pain, noise, locking in the jaw joint<\/li><li>Earache<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-1d387bb6 gb-headline-text\">The treatment of bruxism varies according to the diagnosis.
