Root canal treatment is removing the nerves of the tooth and filling them with canal filling materials. Root canal treatment aims to remove the infected pulp (nerve) and eliminate the infection and pain. When you come to the appointment, the physician listens to your complaint and decides on the need for root canal treatment following oral examination and x-rays.
A rubber dam is used to isolate the tooth to be treated during the treatment. The pulp is removed with rotary hand tools, and canal shaping is performed. Then the canal is filled. Afterwards, it is finished with filling or coating as an upper structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the early stages of the infection, there is no or minimal pain.
